Who... are we? We’re an eleven piece samba-fusion percussion group from Cambridge. In 2007 we decided it was time to give ourselves a proper name and came up with Thudbox after the fridge magnets spoke to us. In 2008 we entered the Cambridge Band Competition and very nearly won it. We delivered a storming set at Strawberry Fair and had more fun than we thought possible playing at The Secret Garden Party. The wonderful people at the Glass Onion in Peterborough loved our set and invited us to play at the Grassroots festival, which was very soggy. In 2009 we’ll be playing clubs, pubs and festivals, doing the odd busk, and generally having loads of fun doing it.
